Web Pages

Recently I created this blog web page. It was only after a couple days when i realized that it takes a lot of work to keep these things up. How do i advertise that my page exists??? Really, it is hard to get things up and running when you know absoutly nothing about internet web pages til you set one up yourself. I thought if you created a web page that it would automatically appear in a search engine, boy was I wrong!!! If anyone ever finds my site and you have some good tips please let me know!!
